Vega Economics provided a comprehensive analysis and a presentation on the driving forces of recent price movements in the markets for medical supplies. Our team designed and implemented statistical procedures to evaluate whether the cost increases were driven by changes to market fundamentals (i.e., permanent) or were results of cyclical adjustments (i.e., transitory). We also developed econometric models to forecast prices that helped client benchmark pricing decisions.
